Join us and become an integral part of the success of the Estra Firenze Marathon! As a volunteer, you’ll have an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of the event.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Marathon’s organization. Passion for this sport, but not only that, passion for large events in general, the desire to experience them firsthand—events that today could not exist if they were not supported and fueled by the passion that every volunteer lends on race day and in the preceding days, the same passion, as much as the athlete engaged in the race itself.
To welcome all participants to the Firenze Marathon, over 2000 volunteers are needed, primarily to ensure the control and safety of the race.
Volunteering at the Firenze Marathon means being part of a structure that realizes one, if not the most important international sports event in the city.
Where
Ensure runners follow the correct route and provide assistance along the way.
Help distribute water, supplements, and snacks to athletes along the course and at the finish line.
Welcome runners as they cross the finish line, offering support and congratulations.
Manage the storage and retrieval of participants' bags efficiently and securely.
