The EXPO 2024 of the Florence Marathon is the trade fair event connected to the Florence Marathon race.
Starting from 2024, it will be in a new location: STAZIONE LEOPOLDA.
EXPO 2024 represents an opportunity for meetings and discussions among enthusiasts of running, trail, biking, endurance, fitness, and sports tourism. The main companies in the sector are present to showcase their products, the latest trends, and innovations, providing a direct market test with the end consumer. Additionally, there will be conferences, in-depth analyses, interviews with athletes, and specialists in training, nutrition, and physiotherapy.
EXPO 2024 is a splendid opportunity for communication through commercial meetings and sports marketing, which is becoming increasingly cross-cutting and impactful. If you love or work in the world of sports, running, trail, biking, endurance, fitness, or sports tourism, you can’t miss the EXPO 2024 of the Florence Marathon. In past years, during the two days of the exhibition, over 25,000 people from more than 60 nations visited the Expo. Each participant in the Marathon, who goes to collect their bib and race bag, will be accompanied on average by two people (spouse, children, friends) who, although not participating in the Marathon, take the opportunity to visit Florence and its unique sports fair.

Let’s return to the pre-pandemic period, in a glamorous space suitable for every type of trade fair event, ideal for our new horizons in the world of sports, running, and contemporary fitness.
Two intense days: Friday, 22nd and Saturday, 23rd with free admission.
The Stazione Leopolda will also be the reference location for important collateral events, such as the Family Run and the Charity Relay, moments dedicated to companions, families, and the entire city. The exhibition area has been designed to offer visitors multiple experiences: test areas for sports equipment, stands dedicated to sponsors, thematic recreational areas reserved for sector brands.

How to Reach Us
By Car
- A11 Firenze-mare motorway: Exit at Firenze nord.
- A1 motorway, both from Milan/Bologna and from Naples/Rome: Recommended exit Firenze nord. Proceed from the exit along Viale Guidoni and Viale Redi following the signs for the city center, towards Porta al Prato.
Where Visitors Can Park
Paid parking available nearby. For information, visit the Firenze Parcheggi website. Ample parking areas near the Stazione Leopolda, or in the Cascine or Teatro del Maggio Fiorentino areas.
By Train
- Santa Maria Novella Railway Station. It is about a kilometer away: 5 minutes by taxi, 10 minutes by bus with lines 1 and 9 (departure from Via della Scala).
By Bus
- Lines: 9, 12, 16, 17, 26, 27, 29, 30, 35, C2, C1 (stop Porta al Prato).
By Tram
Line T1 has a dedicated station “Porta al Prato Leopolda” and is located a stone’s throw from the city center. By using the Park and Ride facilities at “Villa Costanza” (T1) and “Guidoni” (T2), both near the motorway exits, you can easily reach Stazione Leopolda.
